The makansutra gluttons bay sampler is a selection and degustation of Singapore's all time favourite flavours on a plate. Each dish is cooked by top hawkers and presented on a tropical platter and served with the evening marina bay breeze. amongst changing selections, you can enjoy bites of fried carrot cake, crunchy fingers of roti kaya fondue, juicy slivers of barbecued sambal stingray, a fiery chilli crab, or a cup of smooth and spicy laksa rounded off by with cheng tng (Chinese dessert, served hot or cold, made from six ingredients and served in a sweet soup) or chendol.

Space @ My Humble House is a perfect stopover for some of Singapore’s favourite fare with a gourmet twist. The menu features premium ingredients in familiar dishes. Specially for Singa-pore Food Festival 2008, we have created an innovativesampler platter for you to enjoy some of the best dishes that Singapore is known for.

Bak kut teh: Instead of the usual pork ribs, we use succulent New Zealand baby lamb rackprepared in a savoury spice-intensive ‘bak kut teh’ broth.

Laksa: Rice noodles are complemented with fresh prawns, scallops, crabmeat, and beansprouts in spicy and fragrant gravy.

Fish bee hoon: Rice noodles with fillet of Marble Goby in a superior stock.

Chicken rice: Served ‘sushi-style’, this well-loved dish is presented with creative flair. Fragrant rice and tender juicy chicken piece are wrapped with a slice of cucumber and served with a dash of chilli and ginger sauce.
